“O, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:3
This has been my theme verse since I married Doug in 1985. We have been exalting the Lord together ever since. I hope sharing thoughts and stories from my life will magnify the Lord and cause others to join in praising him.
Life has been a series of transitions over the last few years. First, I left my career at The Seeing Eye, Inc., to become the primary caretaker for my in-laws. Since their deaths in 2016, it seems the Lord is leading me to start writing and expanding my speaking ministry. You can find my first published article in the August 2017 edition of Ruby For Women magazine. It explains how I discovered that I am God’s favorite–I’m sure you’ll want to know, too.
My biggest undertaking is writing my first book. It is my story of childhood sexual abuse and the freedom I found from my past. It is my prayer that it will help other women who feel stuck in their past to also find freedom and the abundant life Jesus promises.
My life is so full of blessings and joys. My greatest joys are being married to Doug, raising our three boys and watching them become wonderful husbands and dads, welcoming our three daughters-in-law into our family, and being Mom-mom to our four grandchildren. I also have been blessed to serve our church in youth ministry and women’s ministry for over 30 years.
I am eagerly looking forward to what God has in store for this next season of life!
